Who we are
PapaParrot (https://papaparrot.com) is operated by syncGOODS Solutions Pvt. Ltd.. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
What PapaParrot is
PapaParrot is a digital learning product for children roughly ages 6–9. Families purchase access to story-based learning experiences. We are the merchant of record and sell our own software only.
Information we collect
On the learning app: A first-mate display name chosen by the family may be stored in the browser on that device (local storage). Learning progress (completed islands, stars) is also stored locally on the device. This data is not required to create an online account with us.
When you contact us: If you email support or join a notify list, we receive the email address and message content you send.
When you purchase: Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored on our servers. We may receive limited transaction information (for example, payment status, amount, and a customer email if provided at checkout) needed to fulfill the purchase and prevent fraud.
Technical data: Standard server or analytics logs may include IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate time of visit, used to operate and improve the service.
Children’s privacy
PapaParrot is designed for use by children with a parent or caregiver. We do not require children to create accounts, and we do not knowingly sell children’s personal information. Payment is intended for adults. Unlock state after purchase is stored on the purchasing device.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us beyond what is described here, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly where we control it.
How we use information
- Provide and improve the PapaParrot product
- Process purchases and deliver digital access
- Respond to support requests
- Send product updates only if you asked to be notified
- Protect against abuse, fraud, and technical issues
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage for progress, crew profile, and access state on the device. We may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for the site to function. We do not run third-party advertising networks inside the learning experience.
Service providers
We use trusted processors for payments, hosting, and email as needed to run the product. Those providers process data under their own policies for the services they provide to us.
International customers
Our company is registered in India. Customers may be located in other countries (including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and elsewhere). By using the service, you understand that information may be processed in India and in the regions where our processors operate.
Retention
Local device data remains until the user clears browser storage or resets progress in the app. Support emails and purchase records are kept as long as needed for customer service, accounting, and legal obligations.
Your choices
You may clear local storage in your browser to remove on-device progress and profile data. You may email us to request deletion of support correspondence we hold. For payment records, some retention is required by law and by our payment processor.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
